Our Google certified educator and Team Leader provide comprehensive one-week training, focusing on Google applications with an emphasis on Google Classroom. We ensure all teachers, even those unfamiliar with technology, become proficient in using Google Classroom, covering essential concepts like assignment submission, homework management, document attachments, and creating Google Meet links for interactive sessions. Our proactive approach alleviates concerns for new teachers unfamiliar with technology, facilitating a smooth onboarding process that instills confidence in handling online classes. With this support and guidance, our teachers create dynamic and engaging learning environments, delivering quality education to all students, regardless of their backgrounds or previous experience. NEIEA fosters a collaborative and nurturing environment, enabling teachers to thrive and positively impact the lives of our students.
Teaching English Proficiency Course
At NEIEA, our mission is to empower trainee teachers through our comprehensive English Proficiency online course, utilizing the innovative Discourse Oriented Pedagogy (DOP). Through this approach, we focus on developing effective communication skills and fostering critical thinking among educators. As part of our training, we also offer technical proficiency using Google applications to enhance teaching capabilities in the digital age. Our goal is to equip our trainees with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in the classroom and make a positive impact on their students’ learning journey. Together, we strive to create a dynamic and inclusive learning environment that prepares educators for the challenges and opportunities of the modern educational landscape. Teaching DOP
Discourse Oriented Pedagogy is an innovative teaching method developed by Dr. K. N Anandan, a renowned Linguistic and ELT consultant from Kerala. It emphasizes meaningful and interactive conversations in the learning process, viewing education as a collaborative, social activity where students actively engage in dialogue with peers and teachers to construct knowledge. Core principles include active participation, collaborative learning, guided practice, reflective thinking, and empowering learners. Encouraging critical thinking and cooperation, this approach empowers students to take ownership of their education, leading to increased motivation and improved communication skills. Suitable for various educational settings, discourse-oriented pedagogy aligns with student-centered and constructivist approaches, fostering academic achievement and lifelong curiosity when facilitated effectively in supportive classroom environments.
