The New Equitable and Innovative Educational Association
NEIEA aka NEI is a transformative educational agency led by dedicated professionals.It advocates quality education with innovative pedagogy, inclusive cultural constructs, and cutting-edge technology. NEI serves as a knowledge-sharing platform for various educational institutions, promoting the education of marginalized segments of society.
NEI (New Education Initiative) was formally registered as NEIEA (New Equitable and Innovative Educational Association) on April 18, 2022. NEI has been actively engaged in educational discussions and planning for 2 years. The total failure of education during the pandemic, disrupting the education of hundreds of millions of children and youth, brought into sharp focus the need to build a transformative model of education that would not only overcome shortcomings but also construct an educational system that is sustainable, equitable, and inclusive. There was a need to prioritize the education of vast segments of marginalized folks that had hitherto been neglected: girls’ education, that of out-of-school and dropout children, those who need special education, Madrasa youth, privately attending low-quality functioning schools, and public schools that lacked quality. These were all areas that demanded a new kind of transformative education.
Online Orientation on the theory and practice of DOP
NEIEA's journey started with a ZOOM call orientation, where our esteemed co-founder and Guru, Dr. K.N Anandan, taught Discourse Oriented Pedagogy to over 50 teachers in Telangana. This laid the foundation for our approach to education, which emphasizes holistic learning and nurturing students' potential.
10 days Teachers’ Training workshop

Telangana Minorities Residential Educational Institutional Society(TMREIS)
In May 2022, NEIEA joined hands with the Telangana Minorities Residential Educational Institutions Society (TMREIS) to conduct a highly successful workshop on English language proficiency through Discourse Oriented Pedagogy in Hyderabad. This collaboration allowed us to reach even more students and spread our mission far and wide.
NEIEA’s commitment to innovation led to embrace MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) technology. Taking our courses online allowed us to scale our impact and cater to a broader audience around the nation. Since then, we have successfully completed more than 20 batches, empowering countless individuals with the gift of knowledge
NEIEA has taken a significant stride towards greater inclusivity by extending its offerings to include free online NIOS SSC exam preparatory courses. This initiative aims to support school dropout kids, underprivileged children, homeless youth, and students from madrasas in their educational journey, helping them prepare for and pass the 10th-grade examination. By providing this opportunity, NEIEA seeks to empower these marginalized sections of society and open doors to a brighter future through education.
